freaking aye. by far the best movie of the summer and i would say for the rest of the year – was the Dark Knight. GO SEE IT. the screen play, the acting, the joker, the personality, the twists, the manipulation, the dispear. EVERYTHING WAS SOOO AWESOME!

I want to take a sec and reflect on forgiveness. and not just forgiveness of our sins, but forgiving ourselves. ive come to the place that i struggle with it, but its not fully our place. we have no power in those regards, but a certain amount of acceptance comes into place.

more or less, we can rely on our friends, family, spouses, brothers. we dont need to carry the burdens. we’re also to help carry the burdens of others. just dont live in fear. Your a prince/princess in God’s eyes, so start acting like one.

This will prolly be edited mostly because its 1:26 am and i wont be able to finish it completely but this is something that kinda annoys me.

Why is it, in every circumstance (usually overwhelming ones) we, or at least me, get the urge to run away. In life, business, personal, etc. theres an urge to just drop everything and let it all go to hell in a handbasket. its that tantalizing though to just not care anymore but we immediately snap back into reality and realize the consequences thereof. Now since we are free to choose our actions but not the consequences, why is it we get this feeling, thought, temptation or whatever you want to call it, to run away from everything even the good things in a circumstance.

Shame?
Shame could be a cause but doesnt always fit the bill. Shame will work with pride and ego and really handicap us from what we want to accomplish. Shame can produce the urge to run away because of the emotion we feel but how can it always be the problem since situations can arise where shame or embarrassment is not a factor?

Rationalizing?
Like i said earlier, its a thought and temptation therefor other options are presented along side, so why is the option of cowardice and weakness considered? is it apart of our normal rationalizing? We are not rational creatures because rational means we figured EVERY circumstance, but rationalizing means we attempt and reason for the most rational circumstance (com 245 ftw). So in our rationalizing minds we consider the idea of running away, is it just a normal logical loop or is there more to it?

Im too tired to continue philosophy but ima come back to this, because i dont think i’m the only one.

The only thing i would add is a provision for open-source software creators and users to give them a break.

so we were talking at dinner and catholic priests were brought up and then the punishment of castration was implied but we wondered why its not a punishment currently. one of the people at the table asked what would it accomplish? and the reply from one of the parents/adults with us stated, “its like trying to push a marshmellow into a parking meter.”

Well i ended up with a bronze medal in TQM this year. We could have done way better but ya know…. im content. i really enjoyed myself for the most part this week, i learned alot about dealing with people, and it was a good event. im totally beat though, but oh well. i am however in the next couple hours going to be putting someones hands in warm water .

I really can hardly wait to get home though, i may or may not be able to start a job when i get back.

So yeah…. i want to kill all the members on my team cept 1…. one of them is the most arrogant n00b ive ever met. he thinks because he went to boy state and got a 4.0 in AP chem, and talks about them constantly and reminds people constantly about them, that hes the most pro thing in the world. i admit i can be arrogant at times, but i go out of my way to try and keep my mouth shut and listen to other people and really be nice -_- and im still struggling with this guy. and then the co-leader i guess u could call her…. freaks out when people are around or if her music isnt on or the page isnt lined up right. she claims OCD but shes never been OCD about anything in her life. she claims she cleans but ive seen her room, its the dirtiest thing in the world, so it peeves me alot because any neutral music put on is dismissed as gay and she wastes sooooo much time, working on the computers where the most work needs to be done. ive lost about 4 hours work time today waiting or putting it off to work on minor things because she sits around fiddling with crap.

oh gosh then theres the directors duaghter. well grand daughter… The director of skillsusa for the state of washington is a really neat man, however he spoils that child rotten. he freaking handed her a $100 bill to go shopping… and then left…. and this apparently isnt the first time shes recieved money since sat night. This pisses me off for alot of reasons. mostly because i hate flaunting of money, i hate it. also she flaunts infront of kids who dont even have money for food on this trip. now she doesnt know this, but its a simple lesson everyone should learn early (i know i did) that you can be blessed and modest. but that little brat is spoiled rotten and rotting even faster. now shes about 15 now i guess, and shes like… boy crazed. meaning for majority of sunday she followed me around freaking everywhere because she was bored.

all in all… i have no idea how ima get through a presentation tomorrow thats not even finished or practiced. i guess we get up early tomorrow and get to work, but curfew is soon too so i gotta leave. please pray. i may kick one guy off the team though if he continues to be a ….. something im not willing to type >.>

Well, today i leave for skillsusa national leadership and skills conference in kansas city mo. only problem is my entire team is a group of lazy people. i found out our book was only about 60% complete and we need 10 copies full, printed for judges and i think i fixed everything but im having some trouble with a prioritization matrix and a fish bone diagram because i dont know everything and all the details. anywho pray i sleep, get stuff done, and safe travels.

Today was a great encouragement overall about alot of issues in life… i feel better now.
